I have just had another MRI scan and various other test's on mine, conclusion, live with the pain because the alternative could make things worse. So yes keep them warm in the cold, keep the muscle around them strong, and if you fall try and land on something else but not your head!graham birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12080370700257793501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731817266552867023.post-47876734369109397872010-02-03T14:03:40.726+00:002010-02-03T14:03:40.726+00:00What a great post. It's just a shame you had to suffer so much to be able to write it.

Next time i'm flying through the air, looking for a soft patch of grass to land on, I will be sure to think of your knees (or maybe if i'm lucky the Donkey).Red Bikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10286933264663629749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731817266552867023.post-54296277814398413292010-02-03T12:37:47.431+00:002010-02-03T12:37:47.431+00:00You look so young!!You look so young!!Kelvinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03860428221539622236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731817266552867023.post-57230318621984577062010-02-03T12:14:21.215+00:002010-02-03T12:14:21.215+00:00A nice and timely post as I'm about to ride a ...A nice and timely post as I'm about to ride a bike off road again (rather than just turn pedals inside) 4 months (!) after ripping my knee open.

I didn't think I'd hurt my knee either until I looked down and realised I could see the whole joint in far more detail than is usually possible :-/

I think Cy was just relieved to hear it wasn't the bike's fault! (a rebuilt/patchwork Hemlock) I'll be padding up for a while, but I know I probably won't do what everyone seems to expect - ie slowing down.

Take care and keep it clean!Jon Batemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03099342725677371602noreply@blogger.com
